Getting Started: A Terrain file visland.fls has been provided for a quick start, use OPEN from the file menu to load the file , then from the IMAGE menu chose Render.. , Click on ok in the render options dialog. Known Problems: ******************************************************************************************************** Animation Path Bug: There is a bug with animation paths that screws the path up if two key frame points are the same Work Around: Make sure you move the camera and target on every key. The entire way animations are produced will be changed in future versions this problem will be eliminated then. ******************************************************************************************************** Render appears to lock on rendering the sea: Some times the progress bar may appear to have stopped whilst rendering the sea , this occurs because the sea is rendered as two triangles i.e. the progress bar has only two segments and is just taking a long time to render. Note this is also a problem when trying to multitask, windows will lock whilst the sea is rendered !!!!!!! ******************************************************************************************************** Some times when using a 256 colour driver the palette screws up This can happen for instance when a paint package is used or when the colour map editor is used or sometimes the colours are wrong on startup. Work Around: The palette will be restored after the next render. ******************************************************************************************************** Please send Bug reports to Mark Dimon, MDM Digital Media, 185 Ditchling Rise, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 4QR, UK.
