Does exactly what is says on the box. That's what it should say about this game. It's firmly entrenched in the role playing game. You know, same daft plot, bunch of adventurous types, etc. etc.

I'm not going to shock you now by saying Blade is radically different to all those other games, adding a cunning twist that turns the whole genre upside down. It's good at what it does, in its own way, but not brilliant.
