Operation: CounterStrike

It was first called CounterStrike, for a while Command Strike and now the name of this C&C stlye game is to be Operation: CounterStrike. The developers BLUE BLACK Solution have just released a multimedia presentation to potential Publishers but they have also released more extensive information and brand new screenshots. It's startling to think that Operation: CounterStrike could be the first multi-CD game for the Amiga.

They have released some details of the storyline which reveals that a conflict has broken out between Russia and Japan over the Currils (some islands in Asia) from which valuable oil has been found. This conflict draws in other countries who ally themselves with other countries. The Player gets to choose between the Russia/China alliance, UniPac, and the United States.

There should be a long intro to explain the full story and after each mission there will be Cut scenes. Each of the three teams in this conflict features it's own individual buildings and units with there being more than 30 different buildings and 60 different units for each team to choose from. Like many of the new games for the Amiga, it will have TCP/IP Support. The speech in the game is to be in both German and English. In addition to it's many features it will contain a level editor to allow owners of the game to design their own levels, maps, units and buildings.

Operation: CounterStrike requires an 030 processor, AGA or CyberGraphX, 4MB Fast Ram and a 4x speed CD-Rom drive.
