The development of Fortress of Fear is going well and it should be ready at the end of the year. Fortress of Fear is an action RPG like Diablo by Digital Reality Softworx. They have just released some new screenshots to show that development is progressing.
The story behind Fortress Of Fear deals with an old prophecy. In Ancient times 2 races struggled for the world's domination: The dragons and mankind. The dragons were beaten, but the last to be killed layed a curse upon mankind, foreseeing the return of the dragon's. The player now lives in that dark times when the dragons returned and his overall task is to get rid of them again.
You will take control of a (chooseable) hero, walking and fighting his (or her) way through an isometric landscape. On your way you'll be Killing monsters as well as solving quests, there will be many and this lets you gain experience and that way improve your skills. There will be a whole, living world to explore and of course to save.
It will require AGA or CybergraphX, 4MB Fast Ram, CD-Rom, an 030 processor and a Hard Drive.
