Using the Trace Route function:
Select Trace Route
from the Extra menu or click on the
button on the panel.

Target Host:
The Target Host specifies which machine is in question.
This can be either the FQDN (i.e. www.jpsoft.dk) or dotted IP address
(i.e. 192.255.39.99). LPS will take care of the DNS and Reverse DNS
lookup.
Max. Number Of
Hops:
This defines how many computers you allow LPS to go through to get
to
it's destination.
Timeout:
This sets
the timeout both for ping, dns and replies.
An error will be generated if timeout value is reached.
The timeout value is in milliseconds.
Starting the
actually trace:
Well,
just hit the Trace button and watch.
So,
what is Trace Route?
Trace Route can used in order to test your network connectivity.
Traceroute
sends a packet of data to the host you specify in the traceroute
query and tracks progress along the way.
Traceroute
tells you the hostnames of the routers which connect our network to
the
destination host. Traceroute
reports the time a packet takes to get through each router
along the path.
