JDesignerPro by BulletProof Help Desk System - Open Requests


The Open Requests screen is where the Support personnel access a summary of all the support requests. Only 7 fields are shown in the grid. Editing can be done in Last Name, Problem Summary and Assigned To only.

The purpose of this screen is to give the support people a glance at the request list. If a complete problem detail is desired, the support person notes the Call ID of the support request, clicks on the Request or Admin Detail tab and searches for that Call ID.

The Open requests area is an easy place to reassign one or more requests. Once reassigned, it will appear in the result list of that support person when he or she logs in.

There is a Search Panel in the upper left. The search panel is used by pulling down the lists, choosing the appropriate element and pressing the search button to the right that has a picture of binoculars. Some search elements allow text entry to narrow the search.

To edit a record, click on one of the editable fields in the grid, type over it and press Apply. New entries and removal of entries is not allowed on this screen. The reset button will undo any changes you've made to a record before pressing Apply.
