Prescripts

Use the zero space from the Horizontal SpacingHorizontal.tex dialog box before entering a prescript to ensure that the prescript appears at a fixed position in the mathematical expression. Since scripts adjust to the size of the object to their left, placing a prescript after a zero space ensures that it appear at a uniform height. For example, to enter the expression

2Z3

in which the 2 is a prescript, enter a zero space, then subscript it with the 2, then complete the expression.
