DirectX Diagnostic Tool
Microsoft DirectX 9.0 SDK Update (October 2004)

DirectX Diagnostic Tool

The Microsoft DirectX Diagnostic tool gathers information about the system and the DirectX installed components. It also provides a number of tests to ensure that components are working properly. Use the DirectX Diagnostic Viewer (Dxdiag.exe) to create a DirectX-relevant data dump of your computer by running Dxdiag.exe after your computer has crashed. Then send the data dump to Microsoft using the Report button on the More Help tab.

Additional debug information can be found in Debugging DirectX Applications.
