The Internet Direct (ID) Mentorship Program is where you can ask questions about computers, software and the Internet and a volunteer mentor will help you find the answer. The benefit of this program is that you can ask questions of your peers and get answers in plain English. Some pre-formatted topics include Gopher, WWW, and Lynx; Internet Relay Chat (IRC); Email readers; SLIP/PPP; Programming; Netiquette; and the Head Mentors. Future plans include searchable databases of previous questions and interactive problem solving using artificial intelligence technology.
