1. UniPrefs - the central Einsteller

With UniPrefs, you put in all possible parameters of the MaVi-Systems and his/its components. It can be called both as separated application, therefore UniPrefs, as well as from programs out. The behavior is equivalent to the Preferenzenprogramm of MUI consequently.

UniPrefs has even further mutualities with the MUI-Einsteller. It is modular, can equip easily with new modules therefore and so that is simply widened about new functions. Also the service takes place similarly: Over a list, the component to be modified is selected and is planned the respective attitude in a separated area afterwards. The concept of local and global attitudes was continued by us. UniPrefs distinguishes between global, Preset - and local Settings. Becomes on this occasion, as also under MUI, hierachisch on the attitudes grabbed. A program always tries to find a parameter locally first therefore, to search a Preset with the miscarriage if necessary and to use the factory-attitudes otherwise. Consequently single parameters can alter locally and other values are taken from the global pool (and here globally for all applications is put in).

Optically UniPrefs represents this Hierachie through a LPG-Button (pub, Preset, globally). Through selecting of the corresponding letter, you choose the Lokation of the parameter to be loaded (it should a different-colored Hindergrund for pressed buttons as is used for ungedrückte), and you, where the values are set aside, fix through storages or using of the transacted alterations. Stores always causes one setting aside into a Preset or into that with it ' Preset' globally. You/they can choose selbstversändlich another Preset anytime or can generate a new. Uses against it ' speichert' the attitudes locally. Is called locally on this occasion, that the attitudes go lose after finishing of the program and only apply to this one authority of the Programmes also. Have run three Movieplayers for example therefore and alters the audio-attitudes of a Players locally, so this effects itself the other Player in no way (authorities) from. With alterations at Presets (also Gl

one could mark obal as such) immediately changes the behavior of the other Player possibly with.

You find a more exact description of the single Bedienelemte here.
