Table Of Contents Reconciling the balance of your checking and savings accounts with your bank statement is easy in Finance. Use the checkmark button (see image below) in the lower left side of the overview window to mark each item in the list that appears on your statement.
When all items on your statement have been marked in the overview list, click on the reconcile button and a dialog window will open with the reconciled total for your account which should match your bank statement. The checkmark button is also available to mark each item in the list that appears on your credit card statement. You can use the search feature of the overview window to help you quickly look up records or search by the checkmark to display only those items which have not yet been marked.
