        -added Applescript support
        -added a contextual menu plugin to integrate Speed Download into other applications

        -when resuming a download, Speed Download now checks that the file's size has not changed
        -fixed a bug that caused some servers to be incorrectly reported as not supporting restarting downloads
        -fixed a bug which could cause downloads to fail on some http servers (causing a type 400 error)
        -fixed a bug that could cause downloads to fail on some ftp servers (causing a type 125 error)
        -fixed a bug which could cause number of ports and buffer size information to be saved incorrectly
 

19 July 2000: Version 0.8b
        -added ftp and http proxy support
        -added support for passive ftp
        -users can define a default download folder
        -downloads can be set to retry automatically if they fail because the connection dropped
        -smarter handling of duplicate file names
        -files should be reassembled faster
        -Speed Download now remembers settings such as buffer size and the number of connections to open
        -more error codes have accompanying text
        -fixed the "disappearing file" bug
        -fixed a bug that prevented MacOS 8.1 users from running Speed Download
        -fixed a bug that could cause crashes when cancelling a download or when one connection had finished downloading data

14 July 2000: Version 0.7.1b
        -fixed major memory leak that occurred if a download was cancelled or aborted
        -fixed bug that could cause bad crashes when cancelling a download
        -less dependant on large blocks of memory. This should help avoid "Out of memory" errors.
        -many other tweaks and modifications

13 July 2000: Version 0.7b

        -Added support for HTTP
        -Progress dialog reports speed more accurately (but it's still rather approximate)
        -Added some Drag and Drop support
        -Added icons
        -Nice new About/Credits window
        -Added version checking
        -Recompiled with Universal Interfaces 3.3.1
        -Bug fixes too numerous to mention
