Canvas 5 a Finalist for MacUser's Eddy Award
Canvas 5 has been chosen as one of the three Finalist for the 1997 MacUser
Eddy Award in the Best Graphics Application category. Canvas last won the
honor in 1991. Award winners will be announced live on the 'net on the
MacUser Eddy Awards Web Site
on December 16, 1997. Visitors to the web-site will be able listen to "RealAudio"
commentary from editors, download QuickTime video clips and download product
demos.
No doubt Canvas 5's revamping captured the imagination of MacUser Editors.
Features such as the powerful, new image editing capabilities, Photoshop-compatible
plug-ins support, typographical improvements, enchancements in film output,
color and registration, set Canvas 5 apart as the truly fully integrated
illustration, photo editing and page design tool.
As part of being named a Finalist, Deneba will participate in an online,
sponsored drawing of three Canvas 5 applications to three lucky winners.
Winners of the Eddy Awards Sweepstakes will be announced March 1, 1997
on the Eddy site.
The Eddy Award winners will be announced on the net at December 16,
1997. The ceremony will be held at the Masonic Auditorium, San Francisco
from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., PST and web-cast LIVE on the Eddy site using
RealAudio and video stills.
Deneba Software will also be present at MacWorld Expo, 1997 - also in
San Francisco during January 8 through 10, 1997. It will be held at the
Moscone Center. Booth # 1539.
