Export text to a new Microsoft Word document
Click OK.
Microsoft Word starts, and the selected page or text is copied to a new Word document.
Notes
Copy text to an existing document
Note You cannot copy text until optical character recognition (OCR) has been performed on the document.
Tip
When you drag the mouse to select text in Microsoft Office Document Imaging, only the words within or touching the selection rectangle are selected. If you hold down the ALT key while dragging, Office Document Imaging selects all scanned text that appears between the first and last words in the selection, whether or not the words lie within the selection rectangle.
If the page you are copying has a simple layout, such as a single column of type, the text is copied in a linear string, similar to the way it was originally entered. If the page is more complex — with embedded pictures and multiple columns, for example — this technique is not recommended.
