When I added a 3-D effect to my drawing object, the object shadow
disappeared.
You can't apply both a shadow and a 3-D effect to the same drawing object.
I can't see the border around a drawing object.
I changed the fill, border, shadow, or 3-D effect, but I get the
old settings when I draw an object.
The default style is being applied to the new drawing object. To change the default settings for new objects, select an object that has the attributes you want. On the Drawing toolbar, click Draw, and then click Set AutoShape Defaults.
When I change the fill color of a drawing object with a shadow or
3-D effect, the shadow or 3-D effect doesn't change color.
Changing the fill color affects only the face of the drawing object. To change the color of the shadow or 3-D effect, use the Shadow or 3-D tools on the Drawing toolbar.
The shadow on my drawing object is not solid.
When you apply a shadow to a transparent object, the shadow appears as a line. To have a solid shadow, you must apply a fill color to the object or apply a fill effect to the object.
