This exercise will show you how to use Linkbot to identify bloated pages that could use slimming.

To Locate the Slow pages on Your Site:

  1. Run a complete analysis on the site
  2. Select the Slow Pages option in the left frame
  3. Switch the right frame to the Properties Tab

To Locate the Slow Pages in the Site Report:

  1. Run a complete analysis on the site
  2. Publish a site report and choose "What's Slow" from the menu.

Note: The download size is the sum of the HTML text and the images on a page. It is not just the size of the actual HTML file itself.

To Customize the What's Slow List:

  1. Select Options from the Tools menu.
  2. Select the "Reporting" tab
  3. Enter a new download size. The default value is 50KB.
