As the ActiveX controls available from Microsoft keep changing (and their number increases), the topics previously topics contained in this section have been removed, so as not to provide confusing/outdated information.

There are examples of ActiveX <OBJECT> embedding on the <OBJECT> page and Visual Basic Script examples on the Visual Basic Script page

Also try the HTMLib Gadgets section, for some ActiveX/VBScript examples. There, there is a full-blown ActiveX control, together with a HTML Layout control version of the Colour Wizard, both of which incorporate scripting.
