The Amiga Games Database

Welcome to the Amiga Games Database. It's purpose is to provide Amiga games players with an informed but subjective opinion on a wide range of games. A vast amount of Amiga titles have been written, some of them more than a decade ago. We've all come across some awful software in our time, but for many of us, there's a surprising quantity of undiscovered classic Amiga games out there. The AGDB is here to help you identify them. It is not here to help you find pirated games so please don't ask. If you have any queries about Amiga games please click on the question link.

AGDB News
A couple of recent features I've added to the AGDB are the Profiled Reviewers List and the Amiga Timeline. I hope you approve.

I'm pretty excited with the Amiga scene in general, what with the AmigaOne due sometime this Summer, and a PPC native OS in development. I just hope the Amiga community will be supportive and the various Amiga factions can come together so that we can maximize on this potential success.

AGDB Help Request:
Despite the impressive number of reviews the AGDB has, I'm always keen to get more - as long as they're not on the Overkill list. If you're stuck for ideas though, I'd love to see reviews of the following, Drakkhen, Galdregon's Domain, Race Drivin', Sensible Soccer, Wipe-Out (Hover board game), Archon 1 or 2, MiG 29 Super Fulcrum, Killing Cloud, Balance of Power, Heimdall, The Speris Legacy and Tau Ceti.
By the way, have you checked out the new Amiga Timeline (see below)?
I'm also STILL looking for any information about the very cool Tron light-cycle type game, "Tech". I know it is available but was it ever officially released?

Quote of the month:
"...there's no background music nor pictures, but I consider this a plus - it's just you, the pit, and the falling blocks. An abstract bliss."
Hidehiko Ogata on Blockout.

If you'd like to contribute a game review yourself, and I need all the help I can get, you might like to see the Submissions page, or just send your review to angus@angusm.demon.co.uk

You can review any Amiga game you like, commercial or PD but please avoid the games on the Overkill list, which have already got three reviews each. If you're really stuck for ideas you might want to look at the Suggestions list.

You've got a choice of routes to the AGDB:
